Office interior design process
Step 1: Design brief
Our first step is to conduct a site visit to get a better understanding of how the space comes together and to discuss your preferences.
Step 2: Concept design
Using the information from the brief, we will create an initial design plan, which includes 3D models, floorplans, fabrics and furniture.
Step 3: Design development
We specify the materials to be used and refine the interior layouts whilst considering economic, environmental and construction needs.
Step 4: Technical design
We create a fully-detailed technical construction pack, finish schedules and FF&E specifications for every space.
Step 5: Construction
We work closely with the contractors that carry out the construction work, ensuring the concept design is stuck to throughout the process.
Step 6: Handover and close out
We don't walk away from the project until our client is completely happy with the final result, so we carry out final inspections and ensure anything less than perfect is dealt with.

Office interior designers FAQs
What is office interior design?
Office interior design is focussed on creating a commercial workspace which reflects the brand, boosts employee productivity and impresses clients. During this creative process, mood boards and concept boards are created, design and floor plans are drawn up and furniture is selected. The office space is then fully refurbished, with the final result being a space where businesses can work efficiently and effectively.

How does office design affect productivity?
A well designed office space will keep employees motivated, organised and comfortable throughout the day. There are endless studies that relate working environments to productivity levels, with considerations such as light, space and even biophilic design playing a huge role in improving performance. With COVID-19 sending many people to work from home for a while, offices need to become a warm, inviting place which can be considered a home away from home to entice many employees back to office life.
