The 6th form students at Bournemouth School for Girls have been provided with a new common room to study, eat and relax. Natural materials paired with a muted colour palette create a fresh and relaxing space. Plants had been a key focus of the design, which can help improve focus and reduce stress.

We were approached by the owners of a Bournemouth shopping arcade to transform the shopping experience for members of the public. KTM Design have completed designs that are now in the procurement and build stage. Our Project Management Team are managing the build to ensure a high quality finish that 100% reflects the design.

Public space design projects range in form. From informal high street hangouts to grand civic set pieces. At a larger scale, formal public spaces have an important role as the focus for public life, activities and events. At a smaller scale, they might simply be somewhere to rest, hang out, or play whilst providing a visual pause in the flow of streets through urban areas.
