Meet Katie
The luxury interior design team is led by Katie Thomas, the Co-founder of KTM Design.
Katie is the South West Regional Director for the Society of British & International Design (SBID), a Visiting Lecturer at the Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) and a Guest Speaker at property, design and educational shows around the UK. Katie is surrounded by a team of experienced luxury interior designers who work to exceptionally high standards.

We are KTM Design, a team of professional luxury interior designers with years of experience in creating polished and elegant interiors which exude luxury and embody our clients’ personal tastes. We specialise in transforming spaces in commercial, hospitality, residential, public areas.
Whilst our design studios are based in Bournemouth and London, we offer our luxury interior design services beyond these areas, on a national and international scale.

Our creative team of luxury interior designers will be there from the initial consultation through to construction and handover to ensure that the project not only meets your expectations, it exceeds them.

luxury interior design process
Step 1: Design brief
We’ll visit the site to understand how the space comes together and to see what can realistically be done to transform the property.
Step 2: Concept design
Following the brief, we’ll create an initial design plan, which will include 3D models, floorplans, fabrics and furniture.
Step 3: Design development
We’ll refine the interior layout whilst also considering any economic, environmental and construction needs.
Step 4: Technical design
We’ll put together a fully-detailed technical construction pack, including finish schedules and FF&E specifications for the new area.
Step 5: Construction
Construction work will commence. We’ll work closely with the appointed contractors to ensure that the work being completed is in line with the design plan.
Step 6: Handover and close out
When construction is complete, we'll visit the site and assess whether any further work is necessary to fulfill the brief.The project won’t come to a close until we ourselves and the client are happy with the new space.
